11月12日 改变的生命
若有人在基督里，他就是新造的人，旧事已过，都变成新的了。（林后五17）
你对自己灵魂的得赎有什么看法？救恩的经历是在你实际生活里，一切都真正的改变了，你不再用以往的观点看事物；你的喜好是新的，旧的东西已失去力量。这经历的试金石是——神到底有没有改变了你最看重的东西？你若仍然留恋旧事，又说已重生了，那实在是无稽的，是在欺哄自己。你若已重生，神的灵就在你生活及心思上，显明他的改变。当抉择关头来到，对于自己那显著奇妙的改变，你会是世上最稀奇诧异的那一个，因为你根本没可能会这样做的，这完全想不到的改变，正是你得救的明证。
我的得救与成圣，叫我有什么改变？例如我能否坦然面对哥林多前书十三章的教导，还是我要含糊躲闪？圣灵在我里面成就的救恩，把我完全释放。只要我行在光中，正如神在光中，神对我便没有可责之处，因为他在远超乎我意识范围的每一细节中作工。
祈祷◆主啊，你的美善是那么无可比拟，我们“好像做梦的人。我们满口喜笑、满舌欢呼”；为着我们将再次带着禾捆喜乐地回来的日子，我们赞美你。
November 12 The Transfigured Life
“If any man be in Christ, he
is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become
new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17
What idea have you of the salvation of
your soul? The experience of salvation means that in your actual life things
are really altered, you no longer look at things as you used to; your desires
are new, old things have lost their power. One of the touchstones of experience
is – Has God altered the thing that matters? If you still hanker after the old
things, it is absurd to talk about being born from above, you are juggling with
yourself. If you are born again, the Spirit of God makes the alteration
manifest in your actual life and reasoning, and when the crisis comes you are
the most amazed person on earth at the wonderful difference there is in you.
There is no possibility of imagining that you did it. It is this complete and
amazing alteration that is the evidence that you are a saved soul.
What difference has my salvation and
sanctification made? For instance, can I stand in the light of 1 Corinthians
13, or do I have to shuffle? The salvation that is worked out in me by the Holy
Ghost emancipates me entirely, and as long as I walk in the light as God is in
the light, He sees nothing to censure because His life is working out in every
particular, not to my consciousness, but deeper than my consciousness.
