圣经指出来的第一个财务盈余的原则是：从你所赚的每一块钱里面，把十分之一，借着你的教会，奉献给神的工作。要明白神是说：如果你从所得到的一切里面拿出十分之一，借着你的教会，放回到我的工作上，我将会以超然的方式参与你的财务。
圣经指出来的第二个财务盈余的原则是：避免欠债。债务是我们建立财务盈余的致命伤。
圣经指出来的第三个财务盈余的原则是：储蓄。要先留出一些钱储蓄起来，作为一个安全网，一个缓冲。为将来作些储蓄是圣经里面明明强调的原则(箴21)。
Room to Breathe – Financial Margin
A margin is that space between ourselves and our limits. It’s the safety net; it’s the buffer zone that we need as we go through the ups and downs of life. We’re supposed to have this room to breathe.Bible has sometimes uncomfortably specific advice on how we can—step by step—build our financial margins.
Tithing is the first margin.
Avoiding debt is the second margin.
Saving for the future is the third margin.
